Gold Glamour

Hey Y’all!

In case your world isn’t inundated with Style Me Pretty, Pintrest wedding  boards, and enough wedding vendor Facebook friends to make your head spin, you may not have noticed that gold has made a serious comeback this year! Prior to 2014, many brides shied away from gold as an accent color. It was dated…a metallic from a different generation.

This year, my news feed had been exploding with gold. Blush and gold, mint and gold…I can go on an on. But, if you’re really looking to bring a big dose of glamour, nothing screams fancy like gold paired with…well more gold of course!

This wedding is all about the gold sparkle, and it makes a serious statement! A pretty champagne bridal gown feels incredibly luxurious, especially when it’s paired with a simple bouquet of white orchids. I love the idea of hanging clear ornaments filled with glitter from a ceremony arch or chuppah for an unexpected pop of color! Glitter linens are a must, but my favorite part of this board are the champagne escort cards. I can’t think of a better way to let your guests know that your wedding is going to be one big party than with a glass of champagne at the door, complete with an oversized ‘Cheers!’.

Are you loving the return of gold as much as we are? We love hearing from you!
