There’s nothing that screams glamour like an old-fashioned red carpet! With luxurious red velvet, a little gold sparkle, and a lot of drama, a red carpet theme would be absolutely perfect for a classy winter wedding.
Choosing a pretty crimson, burgundy, or cranberry paired with lighter neutrals (like cream and champagne) can transform a tired red and black palette into a sophisticated affair. A bouquet of red garden roses add some softness, but my favorite detail is that incredible red couch! What guest wouldn’t be tempted to get comfy during cocktail hour when you have a plush velvet couch on hand? And, of course, what’s a red carpet wedding without popcorn? Make your guests feel welcome from the moment that they arrive with popcorn at the door, and they won’t mind waiting for your grand entrance!

Cheryl explains, “I’m happy to say the three photos of an actual theater are all photos of the Keith Albee in my hometown. It was built in 1928 and it’s amazing to know that growing up I watched movies in the same seats as my parents and grandparents. As the sun goes down outside, the ceiling of the theater slowly fades from a bright blue to a black. There are even twinkling stars at night.”
Are any of y’all having a red-carpet inspired wedding? I’d love to hear what you think!
